このたび、スチュアート・ウェバー氏がRB大宮アルディージャのヘッドオブスポーツに就任することが決まりましたので、お知らせします。

ウェバー氏は、トップチームの運営、選手の獲得、パフォーマンス分析、ユース育成などを含む、スポーツ部門の全てを統括します。また、同氏はテクニカルスタッフや経営陣と密接に連携し、スポーツ面における明確なフィロソフィーの策定および実行なども担います。

ウェバー氏はすでに来日しており、9月23日(火祝)のトレーニングよりチームに合流します。

Omiya, Japan — RB Omiya Ardija announces the appointment of Stuart Webber as the club’s new Head of Sports, effective immediately.

Webber most recently served as Sporting Director at Norwich City FC, where he was instrumental in the club’s two promotions to the Premier League by winning the EFL Championship in 2018/19 and 2020/21. Across different roles at Liverpool FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Huddersfield Town and Queens Park Rangers—he established himself as one of the sport’s most respected strategic minds in squad building and football operations.

In his new role, Webber will lead all sporting departments, including first-team operations, player recruitment, performance science, and youth development. He will work closely with the technical staff and executive leadership to define and implement a clear sporting philosophy.

Hiromi Hara, who also has been taking the role of Head of Sports since the beginning of 2025, will be devoted to the role of President accordingly.
